Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility, shaped by the people who build, maintain, and depend on digital systems. Our community brings women together to learn, exchange knowledge, and take part in that work.

From our base in Lima, we connect conversations and learning across Latin America. The community is independent and nonprofit, with a focus on practical understanding, collaboration, and a more inclusive cybersecurity field.

Alisson Lara founded CySecbyWomen in October 2018. The community was created by women cybersecurity specialists for women.

A region connected by knowledge

Latin America is not one uniform experience. Language, infrastructure, resources, and local context all matter in cybersecurity. Learning together helps practitioners compare perspectives while keeping the needs of their own communities in view.
